This stunning and unusual Art Deco light fixture that was made by Lightolier in the late 1920s. It boasts the most unusual donut shaped glass shade that has an acid cut back pattern and an iridescent finish that looks absolutely stunning when lit. Another unusual feature of this lamp is the hidden receptacle to plug in a portable lamp which is accessible by removing the bottom finial cap. It still has the original four “Glare Deflectors” on top of each electric candle light. See the original 1928 Lightolier catalog rendering and description. This was a luxury item back then listing for $98.00. Lightolier was well known for thinking outside the box when it came to lighting design in the 1920s and 1930s
