Art Deco “Markel” Slip Shade Fixture w/ Polychrome Finish & Bottom Glass Shade

This is a a lovely Art Deco Slipshade Chandelier that dates from the late 1920s to mid 1930s. Made by Markel it still retains most of its gold colour polychrome paint job with red,  green and brown highlights. This is a rare model with the large bottom glass shade which gives the fixture a larger diameter than most from this era. Fun fact….this same fixture was offered with a smaller bottom shade resulting in a smaller diameter chandelier. The fixture takes five bulbs and is in overall excellent condition.
