Early Cast Iron Porch Light Sconce

This cast iron porch light dates from the early 1900s and is in excellent condition. It was recently reconditioned having been sandblasted, painted with a rustproof paint and rewired with all new components. It has been outfitted with a period molded glass shade. Backplate measures about 8″ tall X 4″ wide and has an “Egg and Dart” border. The sconce can be mounted with the shade pointing up or down. Can be used indoors or out.
