Early Wrought Iron and Amber Glass Gas Fixture

This fixture dates from the late 1800s and is made from decorative wrought iron with a hand blown amber glass shade. The fixture was originally gas and has been converted to electricity. The vented “witch hat” hood can be adjusted up or down. The fixture still retains most of its original black painted finish however is showing signs of wear from being used as a porch light and has several minor surface rust spots which add character to the piece.
