1910 Gothic Chandelier w/ Carnival Glass Shades

Here is an early 1900s three arm brass chandelier that is in excellent condition.

The brass has a nice original brown painted finish with brass highlights which is in excellent condition. What really makes this fixture stand out are the three period iridescent carnival glass shades. The shades are unsigned but more than likely made by NUART or LIGHTOLIER…..guaranteed to be period. These shades are all in excellent condition as well with no damage or repairs. The fixture has great detail throughout…heavy cast brass gothic style arms with quatrefoil motif and a nice long center post which is not brass but painted white metal. When the shades are lit the fixture gives off a very warm glow. This chandelier would work well in a number of different settings including Mission, Arts & Crafts, Victorian or Art Nouveau.

The total drop of the fixture is 35″ which could be easily adjusted.  The overall spread or diameter is 19″. Each shade measures about 5 1/4″ tall and about 4 3/4″ in diameter with a 2 1/4″ fitter rim. A great piece of lighting that would compliment any room. The chandelier has been rewired and is ready to go.
